13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
Reflection:
Forgiveness is a very common word. Too common, that we often don’t value it. Too common, a word, that people refuse to give it or accept it. Too common, that we neither want it nor appreciate it.
Like the air, forgiveness is taken for granted; yet like the air, we need it.
As the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive.
Forgive yourself; and forgive those who have hurt you and wronged you.
We need forgiveness more than we know, as we also need to forgive.
There is freedom in forgiveness.
Forgiveness has set us free in the past; it will set us free again in the future.
Forgiveness makes us free.
We need forgiveness.
