Hosea 6:6 – YHWH Desires Our Steadfast Love

Hosea 6:6
English Standard Version (ESV)

For I desire steadfast love[a] and not sacrifice,
the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.

Reflection:

Do we really love YHWH? Or do we think we can buy YHWH’s blessings and graciousness with sacrifices and tithings?

YHWH’s desire is our steadfast love, no matter how frail we can be.

As much as you need food for your physical body, the Word of God is the food for both soul and body. Therefore feed as much as you can.
