The fear of Adonai (YHWH) is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Worship not on idols,
and trust not in your amulets.
They are as useless as decorative vases.
Boast not in your achievements,
and pride not in your wealth.
They are as fleeting as the leaves in autumn.
Fear the Lord,
and strive to follow His commands.
It is the beginning of wisdom.
Revere what is holy,
and learn from His words.
Through the scripture, you gain understanding.
