When We Ask God for Healing

Healing
By: Jonathan Rolande

When we ask God to heal us from any illness or emotional baggage.  We should first remember that God’s healing, His grace, is not partial.  It is holistic and real.  It’s no treatment to symptoms as like our modern medicine.  It is no brainwashing or placebo effect as that we get from some shrinks.  It’s real healing, and real healing does not only happen in our body; it usually begins from our soul, spirit, mind, emotion, and then to our body.  Therefore, we should be ready and prepare ourselves when we ask God to heal us.  For our iniquities or sins may soon reveal themselves as walls hindering God’s grace for us.   God’s grace is freely given as that of His love; yet often times, we do not accept them because of our pride, our emotional baggages, our hurts and biases,  and because of our sins (simply because we could not forgive them and ask for forgiveness).  Therefore, when we ask God for healing, make amends to yourself, to others (if possible), and to YHWH our God.

When I would heal Israel, the iniquity of Ephraim is revealed, and the evil deeds of Samaria, for they deal falsely; the thief breaks in, and the bandits raid outside.   — Hosea 7:1, English Standard Version (ESV)

Who is Israel?

We are considered Israel in the eyes of YHWH.  To understand further read The Mixed Multitudes.

Let us remember who we are and what we can be, obeying the Laws of YHWH our God.  Let us ask Yeshua (Jesus Christ) our Lord to forgive our trespasses and heal us from our sins — for YHWH our God does not forget them.

But they do not consider that I remember all their evil.  Now their deeds surround them; they are before my face. — Hosea 7:2, English Standard Version (ESV)

God’s grace and healing cannot be bought; yet they are free to those who seek and ask them.  Our sins, not God, may prevent them (grace and healing) from ever working in our lives.   Let us therefore forgive ourselves for Yeshua (Jesus) has already forgiven us.  Let us therefore break these walls to receive Yeshua our God into our lives.
