Passage 90: The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked

Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
    nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on his law he meditates day and night.

Psalm 1:1-2

Reflection

It is so hard to walk the way to righteousness, especially since today’s world is so corrupted. The world system has its flaw and is built to hide the hidden hand manipulating today’s society.

Not one leader or government can save the world. It is only through Jesus Christ’s coming that we are saved and have world peace.

The biggest concern is that the world is shunning Jesus away and shutting oneself away from God. This would lead to a speedy deterioration of morality and free will across the world. This does not happen by chance; it has been planned by the enemy from the moment Adam and Eve were in the garden of Eden.

Challenge

  • Be honest and value integrity and morality far above money or financial gain.
  • Walk the righteous path.
  • Don’t associate yourself with the company of the wicked and corrupt.

Prayer

Father in Heaven, that by grace we are saved through faith and not by our works, please continue to bless us with the Holy Spirit so that we are guided and protected against the corruption and eternal death of souls happening in the world.

Bless us, Father, that we may find peace of mind despite the turmoil.
Bless us, Father, that we may find life eternal despite sicknesses and death in our surroundings.
Bless us, Father, that we may find comfort despite the chaos around.
In the name of Jesus our king and savior, we pray. Amen.
