Have you known of people who were once stinking rich? Eventually, an incident happened, and they just lost everything. Either they had a gruesome death, or they went bankrupt and became homeless.
I knew of people personally, and it crushed my heart knowing of their demise or fate. But, I also knew they were on the path of gaining wealth in some shady businesses or controversial professional practices.
As Jesus also said: “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” (Mark 8:36)
I also knew of people who were from rags to riches. Along the way, they got very sick and were on the verge of death. Got healed and continued to serve God through people all their days.
Today, I’d like to invite you to spend at least 7 minutes remembering those people. Pray for them.

When God came in human form, as Jesus, he taught us how to pray. There is power in praying. God always listens to our prayers.
