In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
2 Corinthians 4:4
Reflection
Science and medicine seem to appear a lot different from what we grow old with, based on the actual human experience.
We’ve learned of natural immunity and the importance of boosting our immune system. But, today, it seems the world is getting a bit crazier and scarier because people tend to forget past experiences.
- The mask mandates become the norm. Do they really work, or are they just symbolic?
- The no jab, no job unconstitutional dictates are discreetly crushing families and individuals to anxiety. Are there no other cheaper and proven ways to effectively prevent/cure the disease other than the jab?
- The lockdowns gradually undermine our economy as a nation and our financial assurance as a society. Are they not making people more sick and depressed?
Why are we so blind? What or who causes us to be blind? What keeps us from seeing the truth and the light?
Challenge
What do we forget as a nation, as a society, as humans, as individuals?
Let us remember and learn from the past. The past might not be as techy as today, but it sure was grounded and pragmatic.
The disdain on sin or evil (not the person, but the act).
The people in the past know and believe there is a God who loves them. He is YHWH. They also believe that in the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, Jesus, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14). With that faith, nations were not as blatantly corrupt as today. There were checks and balances. There was shame and guilt; because of that, politicians would step down due to scandal. In other words, the people in the past do not welcome sin; thus, sin has no place in society. Today, we celebrate sin or evil protected by our laws or policies.
Boost your immune system; God equipped you with that.
In the past, people we ground and more in touch with nature. They see life as how nature works. With that, life was longer and healthier. We know that God created us, and he equipped us with natural immunity and an immune system to fight against diseases as long as we stay in our natural state, which is close to nature. Today, our technology has brought us apart from nature. Our environment has become a digital environment instead of the natural environment. We spend most of our time on our computers and smartphones. We inject ourselves with pathogens not innate to our bodies to immunize us. In the past, immunization was not through injection. Children play, crawl, get dirty, and have some scratches. They gain immunity through those most naturally and gradually. Do you know that were studies made that children who were not vaccinated grew up to be healthier than their counterparts? Research on that:

The 3 influences in life:
Lastly, Share to people that they get to know God better by using these 3 influences in life:
- The Holy Bible,
- Nature (as created by God), and
- Your personal experiences in life (I am sure God has in one way or another tried to touch you or communicate with you. Maybe you were just too close-minded then.)
By using those 3 influences, the god of this world can no longer blind people’s minds. And society as a whole may see the light and the truth.
Prayer
Father in Heaven, grant us the time to enjoy knowing you through the Bible, nature, and our personal experiences.
Grant us the courage to open our minds to what we are used to knowing. Grant us the perseverance to go straight out to that bright light at the end of the tunnel, no matter how uncomfortable it may be.
In the name of Jesus, our King and Savior, grant us your protection and providence. Amen.
