Proverbs 17:28 – Keeping Silent Is Wise

keeping silent is wise
By: Soumyadeep Paul

Reflection:

Keeping silent is really hard especially when your opinion is usually sought for.  But even a fool, who keeps silent is considered wise.   There are really times when words do not command intelligence and wisdom; only through silence can there be peace, wisdom, and prudence.

Were there times when your silence was more important than your opinion?  What did you do?  Were you prudent and wise, or were you trying to show off your intelligence and influence?
