Reflection
Do you believe in Jesus? If you do, you are the light of the world.
Let your light shine before others so they may find peace despite confusion and hope despite fear.
Prayer
Father in Heaven, will the world go back to normal? Or will it not? The Bible tells me that things are going to happen. There will be wars and rumors of wars. There will be plagues and famine.
Are we in those times, oh Father?
I see fear among my people. I could sense confusion in people’s minds.
Father, give me the courage to keep my lamp’s light shining so I may give glory to you.
Father, let me be the light for before so that they can find your peace despite the confusion and chaos.
Father, let me be the light before others so they may find hope despite the despair and lack.
Bless me with wisdom that I may follow your path as we hold on to this light that you have given to me through Jesus Christ, our Savior and King. Amen.
Challenge
- Don’t hide the light that you’ve received from Jesus Christ.
- Let that light shine before others so they can be of use.
