10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.Isaiah 41:10 (ESV)
Perhaps, each one of us has a fear in life.
Some of us have so many fears in life.
Others have far more fears than others.
At least, that is what reminds us that we are sane, and that we are just humans.
It is normal to have fears.
We might not be able to conquer all of our fears.
Yet at the very least, we may hope to control them.
I remember reading somewhere before that “to fear is normal; to control your fear is what makes you brave.”
For who can be brave if there is nothing to fear?
To be brave is to conquer or control that fear.
It is good to acknowledge our weaknesses. We are but human.
Despite that, we can conquer our fears as we find strength and courage through Jesus, our King and Messiah.
Father in Heaven, I have so many fears in life.
I fear for my health.
I fear for the well being of my children.
I fear for sickness.
I fear for death.
I fear for those I might leave behind.
Bless me Father, that through Jesus, our King and Messiah, I may conquer all those fears and live my life anew.
Bless me Father, that as my old self die, I may be risen with a new outlook in life through Jesus, my Messiah and King.
Bless me Father, that I may LIVE this new life glorifying you through Jesus, your son. Amen.
