8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Reflection
We have been saved through faith, and not because we do good things.
We do good things because of our faith. We do good things because we love God, not so we would be saved.
Faith is believing in action.
Therefore, if we love a person, we do good things for the person simply because we want to.
Same goes for faith. If we have faith, it will surely manifest in our actions.
Prayer
Father in Heaven, thank you for saving us through Jesus (our messiah).
Grant us the courage to persevere in faith even through these troubled times.
Grant us the wisdom to follow the right path.
Grant us the strength to stand firm in our faith.
This we ask through Jesus, our Messiah and King. Amen.
Challenge
Believe that you are already saved through faith, and let your faith manifest through your actions.
